Our son-in-law, Bob, works for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in their movie department. Because of this we were invited to visit the set where the New Testament videos are filmed(thanks again, Bob!) The set is somewhere south of Provo, in the land of Goshen-not sure where as I was not driving, therefore not really paying much attention! All I know is that there was quite a bit if dust blowing around. We got to the set and were amazed! how cool to have the city of Jerusalem, made out of styrofoam, fiberglass, and spray concrete!
someone thinks they can push the pillars down
Bob and Jen and our cute grandkids!
Through this door is a court where the woman will donate her mite.
this is also part of the same courtyard as above.
you may recognize this area where Mary was drawing water
streets of Jerusalem
here you can see the back of the set
the Court of the Gentiles
there is an olive press at the top of the picture
the olive tree where Jesus offer the great Intercessory Prayer
We had such a wonderful time and could have spent all day there but kids(big kids) were getting tired. Thanks again to Bob for letting us be part of his family!
